14mm round South Sea, Kasumiga and Tahitian pearl with 18kt rose gold clasp. Available in princess length (18").
Admired for their unprecedented size, impressive luster and wide spectrum of natural colors, South Sea pearls are considered to be the most sought after and valuable pearls in the world. The BELPEARL South Sea pearl farm was established in 2008 on the remote island of Tarwa, Eastern Indonesia to cultivate pearls of the highest quality in a sustainable manner. The island was specifically chosen for its pristine and pollution-free waters.
Established in the early 1990's the BELPEARL farm in Kasumiga-ura (North East of Tokyo, Japan) is the origin and birthplace of the pink pearls known as Kasumiga pearls. The cultivation method of this rare freshwater pearl variant is the result of years of effort by Mr. H. Sakai, a legendary figure in Japanese pearl farming. Production is limited and highly regulated. Kasumiga pearls can only be produced in Kasumiga-ura, Japan.
Renowned for their naturally dark colors, Tahitian Pearls are sourced from the pristine blue lagoons of the Tahitian islands through a partnership with pearl farmer, Victor Tikipupuni and his family. Distinct, alluring and elegant, these pearls are also commonly known as the Black South Sea pearl.
